Discovery Call + Agreement: We’ll start with a chat to learn more about you and your brand, discuss your goals, and answer any questions about our process and pricing. If we're a perfect match, we'll send over a contract, an initial invoice, a project schedule, and all the information you need to know to reserve your cover art project officially.

Pre-Game Prep + Game Plan Strategy Call: Once you're added to our schedule, we'll collaborate with you to gather additional information about your project, collect inspiration, and prepare any necessary references. Once all the pre-work is finished, we'll review our game plan, answer any final questions, and start your project!

Rough Sketches: We'll develop two sketches of potential cover art concepts. Although these will be rough, the two we present will effectively reflect what we discussed in our discovery call and pre-game prep! We'll then hop on a call with you to select your favorite, eliminating one of these sketches.

Cleanup + Lineart: Now that we have a solid idea of what you want, we'll develop it! We'll create a cleaner version of your sketch called line art. This is similar to a coloring book, with solid black lines and no color. We'll present it to you, and you'll have up to 3 free revisions to perfect the sketch before moving on!

Base Colors: Yay! With the line art cleaned up, we can now move on to adding base colors to your cover! This is a more stripped-back version of your final artwork, with solid blocks of color. This will give you a better understanding of what your final artwork will look like. We'll present it to you, and you'll have two free rounds of revisions before we begin to finalize your cover!

Final Details: Once any revisions are completed, and you've approved the base colors, we'll move on to adding the final details to your cover art. This includes adding shading, highlights, and any additional effects that may be needed. We’ll present your final draft, and you’ll have one final round of revisions available.

Delivery: Congratulations! We're all done! After you approve your final cover art we'll export your designs for both print and web and prepare them for delivery. You'll have a week of email support after your project to answer any final questions you may have!

Typically, our more complex projects take around 4 weeks to complete, and our simpler projects take about 1-2 weeks. We work closely with our clients to establish timelines and ensure that we meet their deadlines and deliverables.
We can often simplify the illustration process to get work done faster, without tanking the animation quality. -
Payments are milestone based, with equal payments made on a weekly schedule.

We strive to provide our clients with illustrations that meet their expectations and needs. We offer a few free rounds of revisions during the illustration process, so we can make any necessary changes before final delivery. If you are still not satisfied, we can discuss options for further revisions or cancellation.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise and you may need to cancel your cover art project.
We offer a cancellation policy that allows for flexibility while still protecting our time and resources. Since our payments are milestone-based, cleared milestones cannot be refunded.
However, if you need to cancel your project before all milestones are completed, we require a 5% cancellation fee of the remaining cost. This ensures that we are compensated for work completed and allows us to allocate our resources to other projects. You are free to cancel your project at any time, and we are happy to discuss any concerns or questions you may have about the cancellation process.

We provide our clients with high-resolution digital files in the format of their choice, typically PDF and PNG at 3000x3000p. If you require other file formats or sizes, we can discuss those options during the project.

Reference photos: It's helpful to have reference photos of the people or characters that will be included in the cover. This can help us to accurately capture their likeness and create a more personalized illustration.
Concept ideas: If you have a specific concept or vision for your cover, be sure to share it with us. This can help us better understand your vision and bring it to life in the final illustration. Sketches are preferred (it’s okay if they’re ugly!), but a descriptive summary is also perfect.
Branding guidelines: If you have any specific branding guidelines, such as logos, color schemes, or fonts, please provide them to us. This can ensure that the final illustration is cohesive with your brand.
Any other relevant details: If there are any other details that you think are important for us to know, such as specific settings or props that you want included in the illustration, please let us know.
